We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Team Member with creative coding experience and a genuine passion for entertainment telly. This is not a standard desk-bound software role; you will see your code come to life on studio monitors and broadcast screens. The ideal candidate is:
Curious & Driven: Excited to dive into new computer projects, explore innovative techniques, and proudly show off neat features.
Collaborative: Happy to actively participate in creative meetings and contribute fresh ideas to format presentations.
Composed Under Pressure: Confident operating their own control systems within an intense, fast-paced live TV studio environment.
A Team Player: Keen to collaborate across departments—working closely with digital artists, TV producers, question writers, and technical broadcast crews.
Proactive: Constantly spotting opportunities to streamline workflows, optimize data handling, and make everyone’s job easier on set.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable coding experience—ideally in Python, C++, or C#.
Media Literacy: A solid working understanding of graphic, video, and real-time display formats.
Location & Communication: Based in the UK or Ireland (or able to work seamlessly for a UK company and have exceptional English language skills).
Studio Readiness: Happy and able to travel regularly for location work—often operating on set in major broadcast hubs including London, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast, and Cardiff.
Competitive and dependent on demonstrable experience.
